AFDN is a visible advocacy Organization, addressing a range of issues affecting the African community such as: equal opportunity, education, civil rights, employment, etc. Today, there are many organizations that have come into existence since the 1960’s, and working together with local coalitions, state, and national organizations has become a more effective approach for us to promote public policies and improve services for our community.
