Home Stretch Classes and Calendar of Events
The home buying process at times can feel overwhelming and confusing. There are many classes and events throughout the state that can provide you with information on the home buying process. The majority of assistance programs require that you have attended a First-Time Home Buyer Education Classes sponsored by the Minnesota Homeownership Center. Completion of a “Home Stretch” class required to qualify for many affordable mortgage loans and down payment assistance programs. Classes are $45 per person attending. Fee covers morning coffee and treats, your professional instructors, course materials, a manual, and a certificate of completion.
